What cookies are
Cookies are small values that a website can ask a browser to store and send with later requests. Similar technologies, including localStorage and sessionStorage, can retain information in the browser without sending it automatically with every request. These mechanisms differ from ordinary JavaScript variables held only in an open page.
Storage used by these tools
The supplied calculator, navigation, contact drafting and spending tracker code does not set cookies or write to localStorage or sessionStorage. It includes no analytics, advertising, cross-site tracking or third-party embedded content.
| Feature | Where information remains | Persistence |
|---|---|---|
| Calculator entries | Open page fields and memory | No automatic saving |
| Spending log | Open page memory | Cleared on reload |
| Contact draft | Open page; clipboard or file if requested | Copied or downloaded records depend on your device |
| Menu state | Open page memory | Not retained across pages |
Site-level consent and delivery services
A separately provided site-level consent control, if displayed, is outside the calculator code described above. Its preference handling should be described by that control. Choosing a consent preference does not make the calculators upload financial entries or automatically save the spending log.
Hosting, security or delivery infrastructure may have its own strictly necessary behavior. This notice does not claim that browser inspection will show no infrastructure cookies under every deployment condition. Any optional tracking introduced outside these supplied pages should be disclosed and controlled before it operates where consent is required.
Your browser controls
You can inspect and delete site data through your browser’s privacy or site settings. Blocking cookies does not prevent the supplied calculators from doing their arithmetic. Disabling JavaScript prevents interactive calculations, the spending tracker and contact drafting controls from working, but the written guides remain readable.
Browsers can separately cache page files, retain history, suggest form values or restore a previous page. Those features are controlled by your browser and are not an automatic financial backup provided by this site.
Files and clipboard content are separate
A downloaded CSV or text file, a saved PDF and a copied message are not cookies. Clearing website cookies will not necessarily delete those records. Manage them through your device, clipboard, application or cloud-storage settings, particularly on shared devices.
