Debt comparisons apply monthly interest before payments and use fixed entered minimums and a constant overall payment budget.
Unless a tool expressly says otherwise, fees, taxes, inflation, changing rates, new borrowing and account-specific rules are excluded. Calculations use full internal precision and round displayed amounts to cents; required savings deposits round upward to the next cent. Floating-point arithmetic and simplified timing can produce small differences.
Results are not guaranteed returns, lender payoff statements, affordability decisions or promises of financial improvement. Confirm consequential decisions using current account terms, official information and appropriately qualified help. Stop relying on a result if it appears inconsistent or incomplete.
Records and local tools
The tools require a compatible browser and JavaScript for calculations and interactive functions. Financial entries are not automatically saved. Export or print any record you want to keep before leaving or refreshing a page. There is no account, backup, import or recovery service.
